sign of the times - update

just received an upbeat email from the good folks at broadbean. as you imagine the talk is all very positive about the acquisition. one line that caught my attention in the press release was this one:

"The Bean is buzzing with excitement and we’re all looking forward to winning more awards for providing such a super service to our much loved clients."

winning more awards?? how many awards does one have to put themselves in? surely the important aspects of a business are long term viability through good management and providing value to shareholders?

maybe i don't understand, but it did strike me as odd.
