clickajob?

now i'll be the first to say that i am always interested in early adopters. organisations going down the path less travelled in the whole candidate attraction and recruitment thang.

here is one job board i have not seen before and to me its a touch busy... well, perhaps more than a touch

anyways i found them when reading an article about what pizza hut in the uk are up to in regard to their attraction and recruitment of the gen y laddies and laddesses due to some of our customers being in the same arena.

so what i found where 2 interesting things really:

1. pizza hut are re-branding themselves to pasta hut - yep its true

and

2. they are using this crazy busy job board to find the gen y'ers

the full story can be found here

the clickajob site can be found here

and i am going to bed asking the question - y?

Mike,

I know sometimes I am a little slow off the mark, but that article from OnRec made no sense to my poor little brain. Forget even trying to work out why pasta is better than pizza. But I think you are wrong on ClickaJob, it's a winner cause it has all the right graphics for a web 2.0 site, they even have splashed out bigtime & purchased images from istockphoto ;-).

hmmm
i know u know ur stuff mr specht but i cant help getting a wee bit lost on that site.
now perhaps its appealing to the gen y'ers that have the ability to process vast data much better then this humble old x'er?
as far as the graphics go, yeah i hear ya there
maybe i couldnt get past the whole pizza vs pasta thing

go well

nah only joking, the whole site is bad, even tested on a gen y who rolled her eyes and walked away.
